VerdictNone

Looks legitimate.

Founder sharing genuine burnout after 2 months of running a micro-SaaS that hit real PMF signals (900 users, 12% landing page conversion, recurring revenue, $10/mo costs) but is now stepping back due to personal and mental health collapse. The post reads as authentic vulnerability rather than a sales or recruitment pitch—he's explicitly looking to sell the business, not funnel readers into anything.

Decision path

Hugin marked this looks legitimate because the structural passes did not surface red flags strong enough to outweigh the clean signals.

  1. The final verdict text came from the AI verdict engine using the stored structural signal block.
  2. The scan reviewed 8 comments and 5 unique commenter accounts.
  3. Signal count: 0 high, 0 medium, 0 low flags; 0 coordination-class signals.
Author metadata gap

6 scanned authors had unknown account age, so absence of young-account signals is lower confidence.

What limited confidence

uncertainAuthor metadata gap

6 scanned authors had unknown account age, so absence of young-account signals is lower confidence.

What kept the rating lower

cleanNo reply ring detected

Hugin mapped 8 reply edges and did not find a mutual-reply clique.

cleanStylometry pass was clean

The writing-style comparison ran and did not surface same-hand pairs.

Limitations
  • 6 author account ages were unavailable.
  • 1 selected author history was unavailable to the scan.
  • Username shape alone is never treated as a finding; it is only context when stronger public signals also appear.
Rating thresholds
  • Likely scam: multiple high-severity signals, prior identifier reuse, or several coordination signals stacking together.
  • Suspicious: one high-severity signal, multiple medium signals, or one concrete coordination signal that deserves review.
  • Inconclusive: weak, conflicting, or partial signals where the scan cannot justify either trust or a stronger warning.
  • Looks legitimate: no structural red flags, available metadata, and clean coordination passes.

Fair-use checks
  • What was observed, and what is interpretation?
  • What data is missing, blocked, or confidence-limiting?
  • Would the wording feel fair if it were about someone you care about?
Stable reference

What the post is doing

  • Mentions previous Reddit post for context and continuity
  • Lists concrete, verifiable metrics (900 users, 12% conversion, $10 costs) that are plausible for micro-SaaS
  • Admits failure and personal crisis without polishing the narrative
  • One commenter (u/glennbech) vouches for having actually used the product
  • No DM-bait, no course, no lead magnet—just a founder in distress

Coordination map

Who replied to whom in the scanned comments. Organic threads branch out from the post; accounts that reply back and forth to each other (red links) or hub around one shared identifier (dashed amber) are the structural fingerprints of a coordinated pod.

Commenter patterns

Recent public Reddit activity for the OP and selected accounts, plus same-hand writing checks when the stylometry pass runs. These are coverage-limited evidence summaries, not identity or availability claims.

Reddit did not return recent public activity for this account during the scan. Treat this as missing coverage, not a finding by itself.

Stylometry

The writing-style pass ran and did not surface same-hand pairs.

Account age coverage

OP and scanned commenters are shown when Hugin recovered profile metadata or an oldest-public-activity age floor. Lower-bound ages are labeled as estimates; unknown age remains missing coverage, not a finding about the account.

Post body — by u/Altruistic-Bed7175
So, 2 months ago, I made a post [here]( https://www.reddit.com/r/SaaS/s/szUntccZsm ) that I was about to give up on my saas. And you guys encouraged me to not give up and just find a job and it will all be fine to attack again. Yeh, I tried. The past 2 months ate me alive. Still broke, no stable job, barely any freelance clients. $17 in my bank account. Personal life's a mess too. Relationships, today a potential breakup. (Fck, she just texted me mid writing this. We did break up i guess. Well, i guess I'm in full stress mode for the next week lol) Might redo this uni year bcs I was busy with the saas. Might have a HUGE fight with my mother, who I live with, so I might get kicked out if I speak badly. On top of that, fights with my technical co-founder over roles. I failed to deliver on promotion bcs I was busy trying to climb out of this hole. Growth stalled. Revenue started shrinking, since revenue growth depends on traffic. Channel traffic? You either make money or you don't. Had the talk with him today. He said: "the business was healthy, you're not healthy." He was right. Strong metrics: 900 users in 2 months, zero ad spend, just me posting. First paying users in under a week. Real revenue, recurring revenue. Paid for itself to stay alive. Costs are peanuts, $10 to keep it running. (Not some AI wrapper bleeding money.) Most saas don't even get users in the first 3 months, let alone PMF. Landing page converts at 12%. Anyways, this is getting really long. If anyone is interested in buying a saas, please contact me bcs I'm really done with all of this running a saas bullshit. Edit: man, it gets me by surprise how people just start downvoting and hating out of no where. And being called a scammer just bcs i have a post in arabic. Anyways, thanks to anyone who supported. Really appreciated.

  • So sorry to hear brother. This is a heartbreaking post. That being said, keep your chin up! You built a SaaS that has paid clients. That's 95% of what most solopreneurs dream about. Start over, re-invent yourself. Go back to school. Don't get into a any new relationships until you work on yourself. if you do, you're not doing that person any favors, you're just masking the problem. Get to work on number 1, YOU! We believe in you brother!
  • Yeh, i wasn't going to start any relationships any time soon. It will hurt the other person and I don't want tl hurt someone who might love me. So I will avoid that for a couple of years. The school is already at the cliff, I might redo this year bcs I was to distracted with that saas that drained every drop of my time to get it to where it is now. So for now. It is me time.
  • Keep it going bug guy - trust the process and youll be fine
  • What prosess ?
  • Ik, I went through stuff like these and I always made it out fine. Sometimes, you just gotta lose to win.
  • Building a micro saas is hard, even harder for those with no SW back ground (coming from a weird Systems Eng career path lol) I only have made one thing and it suuuucks so far, im trying to get feedback and I see why lots of people fail or give up. I am trying not to give up on this one product or move to another, but damn this thing is not what i envisioned so far lol
  • Well, you might relate. Our thing is for feedback. FeedbackQueue This might give you an idea of how good this idea is haha. Taken the vibecoding booming. This should take off in no time if I plug ads. I just don't have rhe money for them lol. Investors are just ass people 🙄 I tried if you want to suggest investors
  • Fuck out of here with your bullshit this isn't even remotely real
