EPA proposes advance review for new uses of chemicals already under orders
The Environmental Protection Agency is proposing rules for certain chemicals already subject to federal orders. If finalized as proposed, manufacturers and processors planning specified new uses would need to notify the agency at least 90 days in advance and wait for its review and required action. Comments are due December 2.
