FDA released final guidance on October 20 about software disseminated by or on behalf of prescription-drug sponsors, followed by an October 21 Federal Register notice. It addresses app content, prescribing information and submissions for FDA review. The guidance is nonbinding, and the notice permits comments at any time rather than setting a new closing date.
