3M recalls about 53,634 Scotch TL1302Z laminators after reports of overheating and fire
An October 15 CPSC recall covers Scotch thermal laminator model TL1302Z sold on Amazon from June 2024 through September 2026. CPSC says consumers should stop using and unplug the machines immediately and contact 3M for a full refund. The company reported 63 smoking, melting or overheating incidents, including five fires; no injuries were reported.
