About 94 CIYTI light-up princess costumes sold on Amazon are being recalled because children can easily access their button batteries. CPSC's October 22 notice tells consumers to take the costumes away from children, stop using them and contact the retailer for a full refund. Consumers will be asked to mark the dress and accessories, dispose of the toys and send a photograph. No incidents or injuries were reported.

About 94 CIYTI light-up princess costumes are being recalled because children can easily reach their button cell batteries. CPSC says the costumes violate the mandatory toy safety standard and pose a deadly ingestion hazard.

The dress and accessories

The October 22 recall covers costumes that include a blue dress, a crown and wand that light up, and a remote control. The notice says the crowns, scepters and remote controls contain button batteries.

There are no markings on the product itself. The package has the CIYTI name on the front. The recall page includes photographs of the costume and accessories, rather than identifying the affected products through a model number.

CPSC identifies the retailer as FoShanShiNanHaiQuNuoAiTongZhuangShangHang, of China. The costumes were manufactured in China and sold on Amazon from February 2025 through June 2025 for between $21 and $35.

The refund instructions include a photograph

Consumers should immediately take the costumes away from children, stop using them and contact the retailer for a full refund, the notice says. The listed contact is Norakid2026@outlook.com.

Consumers will be asked to write RECALLED in permanent marker on the dress, crown, wand and remote. They are then to throw away the toys and submit a photograph of the disposed toys to that email address.

CPSC adds a separate battery-disposal warning: button cell batteries are hazardous and should be disposed of or recycled under local hazardous-waste procedures. The instructions should not be read as permission to disregard those procedures when disposing of the toys.

The reported hazard and incident count

Swallowed button cell or coin batteries can cause serious injuries, including internal chemical burns, and death, CPSC says. The notice reports no incidents or injuries.

That incident field does not change the stop-use instruction. The recall offers a refund process; the notice does not show that refunds have already reached particular buyers. The recall number is 27-038, dated October 22, 2026.
